Elapsed Time on Song Display

The elapsed time displayed in the song lyrics window for the upcoming singers doesnt count down as the current singer is singing. If I press the show button it then updates...then updates the next time I press the show button...and the next, and the next, and so on....point is the only time it counts down and stays at that point in time, is if I press the show button.......is this normal?

stopping or starting a song will update the time. Deleting or adding a song will update the time. Changing a songs status from skip to ready and vice versa will update the time.

Having Hoster continually updating the time minute by minute on an inestimable number songs could suck enough computing power from your machine that it could cause problems.
