Convert HDZIP Files?

I have yet been able to run 4.01 for more than half an hour without some hickup somewhere, so I was glad to see 4.02 come out. After installing it the first thing it wanted to do was convert HDZIP files. Ok, I understand the benefit of that but it was sitting on Processing 1 of 41913 for about 2 hours so I cancelled it closed Hoster and reopened it. I am now up to about 1 1/2 hours of "Processing 1 of 41913". Is there something wrong here or am I just not waiting long enough for it to start?

Wow. Sounds like it is having a problem with that first file? Could it be they are on an external drive and it isn't plugged in or for some reason not showing up? This is not supposed to convert if the file isn't available (first beta test of this would as it didn't have a check for it.

I think I have it going (however very slowly). The KMA files are on an external drive. I can read the drive in "My Computer" so I know it is there and working. What I did was close the "Convert HDZIP Files" nag screen, then play a song. I then closed and reopened Hoster and when the nag screen came up it seems to be working. Time will tell. Currently 64 of 41913.

Nag Screen

I had the same problem. After several reboots I believe the thing to do is check off the box that says Confirm you Have Backups of Your KMAs
Click Ok then close the Nag Screen and walk away. If I'm not mistaken even after I closed Hoster the process kept working I could hear the chime for errrors as it found BAD Zip Files.(maybe the maximum compression rule has been set aside in this version. Just a guess I don't know.
Also note that until you remove the Bad Zip files the nag screen will keep coming up.

Hope this might help some

Chuck
