If ALL multisession discs you try have the same problem, I'd try:

1. Reinstall Hoster 3.301... WHEN you have 3 or more days before the next show to give yourself and MTU room to solve any problems that might happen. We are moving mtu.com to a new server and things MAY be in limbo the rest of this week.

2. Replace your CD/DVD drive with an MTU Plextor drive (IDE or USB). Our prices for NEW drives are lowest today. Not trying to push this for a sale, but it is OFTEN the solution. If you can tolerate the problem a bit longer, you may wait until Hoster 3.4 is released, which may solve this problem even further. I've said all that is relevant about 3.4 to this problem. We hope to release before the end of May.

If SOME of your multisession discs don't import all the tracks, then welcome to the "confusion club".

There are various forms of multisesison PROTECTION used to deter importing your CDG disc tracks to a hard drive. MTU has done a good job of overcoming most, but there may be some that sill lurk unsolved. If you find some discs that don't import, please post them here as Brand-DiscID# so we can research them. Also, others who may have the same disc can comment on their success or failure like you.

It may also be you have a damaged disc, that could even be a NEW disc. Chartbuster for some unknown reason has an extremely high 2-byte and 3-byte error rate in their discs, and the last track would be the most vulnerable to these errors due to its written location on the disc.

With 3.301 I have been able to import the newest CB disc and the newest SC disc without any proplems. I am using a 716A internal Plextor.

Incs: try some of the older CB's they're really tough on snowflakes. I will try to reimport some old CB's myself to see if they come out better.

Last night, I obtained good bin files from other disks for over a 100 previously unimportable CB songs. I'm okay now.
I didn't think 3.301 did anything with clearing snowflakes though, did it?

I'm not sure, I don't think so. If I have a proplem with the snow flakes I have a copy using my plextor and MicroStudio. Most of the time the copy is better than the one I copied it from. Then I import it into hoster. Most of my KMA's are Sound Choice & Chartbuster. I have others too. Lots of time SC or CB may not have a song you want and have to use another name brand.
