Runtime Error Help

Not sure where my question belongs, dale if i'm in the wrong place move me ok bud?
What exactly is a "Run Time Error" and what causes one? Is there a free download to git rid of it? It don't pop up all the time, just onest in a while. It happens on my studio XP machine. Not my vista machine. The facts online again are so durn confusing that i can't folla what there saying. George

Thats a hard question to ask, because any number of things can cause a Run Time Error. You need the information beyond the title in order to determine what caused it. And even then it may be so vague that you can't figure it out.
Is there a download to fix it? No because it could be something to do with a Windows function, a hardware function, firmware function within the hardware or a software function call.

They recommend Registry Mechanic, but I recommend System Mechanic as it does more then just the registry.
