You must register, first, but they have some great problem solvers here......a frequent topic is the Black Screen and Audio Problems related to HP Computers.
If you say you have a Video Card with an "S3" chip, I believe MTU system requirements is to have a Video Card "WITHOUT AN S3" CHIP.
AS MENTION BY IN OTHER FORUMS, SOME VIDEO CARDS ALLOW YOU TO "DISABLE" THE S3 CHIP.
I know MTU recommends ATI VIDEO CARDS.....and since a Video Card is only about $80.00......I purchased the recommended card the ATI Radeon 7000.......and it works PERFECTLY.
