I did not say you had Vista. I said they both do these things the same way. Windows 7 is based on the Vista core program just as XP is based from Windows 2000 and Windows 98 is based from Windows 95.
If I remember a while back Madjim had a problem with the Nvidia video card and had to try several different version of drivers before he found one that would work right.

Dale, you are correct about trying different nvidea drivers. I didn't experiment with older drivers yet, but my video dj software is virtual dj and to get video to work flawlessly on the display I had to use driver 163.something which was over a year old. Any of their more current drivers gave display issues. I don't know why nvidea drivers has these issues being that my card is a current card (NVIDEA 9800).

These same results have been discussed on my DJ programs' forum concerning video functionality. All those discussions have pointed at nVidea cards as well, even the newer ones.
Just thought I'd throw that in.
