Smile windows 7

Been using windows 7 for 5 months now with hoster and not had a days trouble with it seems whatever they did killed off all the crap in vista. This is much more user friendly, not so memory hungry either and found that they display lyrics and audio all in tune with no problems maybe I am lucky but thats what I have found

Did you use the instructions for XP or Vista to set up your program?

Thanks Mgrowolski. I do not have Windows 7 or Vista but I do know it has not presented any new problems.

Instead of having Vista stripped off and having to redo all your programs and settings get an Upgrade version of Windows 7. It is cheaper and I don't believe you have to re-install everything.

Please advise me as to how set up Hoster on Windows 7. I finding it difficult to set up my program using the information used for Vista. The control panel is set up different to enable certain areas and there aren't any recognizable boxes for check marks. I'm very confused as to how to set this up and I very much would like to get this program operating. I need a different manual or something regarding help with Windows 7. Thank you in advance. By the way I have Hoster Lite.

just like Dale said it's better to leave the Vista and get the w7 upgrade, xp upgrade to w7 will need a clean re-install that means you have to start from the beginning..and you might have compatibility issues..

I need to know what you did to install Hoster on Windows 7. My download has never been used until this weekend after installing Windows 7 Ultimate. The control panel and other applications are different than described for the Vista installation. Since you have yours installed I would appreciate any help there is no manual on Windows 7 installation and set up. Thank you in advance.

I don't have Windows 7 so I don't what is different from Vista. I thopught the controls were the same.
Could you list exactly which steps are different and maybe we can get someone using it to figure out what they changed?

Technically the control panel is slight different. Certain items that are asked to be turned off, adjusted to or checked off to keep from having problems on Vista are not found or placed in the same areas as Vista which makes it difficult to follow the same procedures as stated for Vista. That's why I was hoping that (mgrowolski) who has been using Windows 7 for 5 months could explain what he did to make Hoster work for him. He stated he used the Vista instructions....I can't understand how or what he did. This has been a difficult project for me and I very much want this software to work for me too and by the weekend. Thanks for your concern and assistance.

As I said list the specific items in the control panel you can't find and then he can point you in the right direction for each.
