old computer

i'm thinking about building a comp. ( since i'm not doing private gig at this time, and bored ) i have an older pc with a big tower and xp pro, and i'm thinking about taking it apart and moving everything to a smaller case..any good suggestion on this and is there any big problem i'm gonna be facing with...just something to talk about since it's sooooooo quiet in here

just wanted to upgrade, from a dual cd/dvd to a single tray, video ( old pc has no dual display ) and sound cards..

Be sure the case you are changing to has the same kind of power supply the old one does. power supply connectors and voltages were changed a few years back to accomidate newer processor voltage changes.
