They have nice flat monitors in nice cases, my wife lugs it around all the time (same as lugging a laptop).

oh, remember, sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission. I mean if she hasn't killed you at seven, she probably won't at eight, either.

We've got about that many too, but we always split the costs and the returns from DJ/KJ'ing are always split as well.

that's true, i forgot to mentioned the asus mini laptop that i bought a while back, she hasn't seen it yet..but anyway i'll be thinking about it, thanks!!!!!

What do you mean by "logging an ext. monitor"? If you mean lugging I use a small (15") LCD monitor. We pack it, the keyboard and mouse in a plastic container from Walmart. So essentially we have the computer and one additional box to carry.
