A couple years ago I was at a friends show where his hired host lost the search window. This was a new problem to me so I had very little to suggest and without the ability to reference the forums I couldn't remember how to reset the registry. His shows/books do not use bookids and he had no listing of them anywhere, he was totally dependant on that search window. After about a half hour someone made a good guess with the mouse and managed to pluck the thing out of the abyss. After this I "new feature" requested a button that would reset it (and the SND since that was often getting lost as well). Maybe in "Help" there could be a selection that would take one to an emergency troubleshhoting section of the manual that might address these things?? Sam

There are 5 items in the registry for AddTrackSrch that set the location. You could go in and delete those then restart Hoster and that would readd the search in its default location. This would do it without disturbing the rest of the settings.
