Thumbs up Some HDAUD KMA files error out unless Visualizations is selected - fixed in 4.09(b)

After downloading Hoster 4.09 my HDAUD files error out.
These are my music files that have been imported with Hoster.
If I go to AudioDJ settings and click on Visualizations they play, but if I want the blank screen i.e. black background or an image they just error out.
Other audio files that were not imported do not do this only those that I imported so as to use the power of the search feature.

I know some people wanted this feature but I don't require it and would like to be able to turn it off.

I confirmed what you are saying. I guess we were all so happy that visualizations was working that we didn't go back and check for solid color or image file. I will alert MTU to this and hopefully it will be a quick fix. If it is they can put out another supplemental 4.09. If it isn't then it will have to wait until 4.10 comes out.

Chuck what type of file did you use to import your audio song files? Were they MP3, WAV or WMA?

Hey Chuck,
I just tried to recreate your problem and could not. I have one HDUAD (that was an MP3 file) that I use for testing. I can put an image up, use a background color (black) or use the visualizations in the Audio DJ settings and they all work fine for me.

Are you hitting the "Apply" button after you change a setting?

Jim

Thanks For Your responses Sorry I wasn't around to reply,

Dale I converted my library of wma's that I had ripped in WMP.
To the Best of My Knowledge that's the only type of file.

Jim Yes I hit Apply I've tried this a couple of times same result.
As I said earlier if I play a wma that has not been converted through Hoster
I can use image or solid background but those that are converted and thus in my kma's as HDAUD just error out unless I have visualizations clicked.

Thanks Again
Chuck

MTU has looked at this (yesterday) and fixed it. They also are working on a couple other little items that have popped up. You should be notified when they get it ready for us. Thanks for pointing this out Chuck. My wife would have paniced had she run into this first.

I figured as much. It sounds like you and Dale have pinpointed the issue and it's been fixed.

Just trying to help.
