What version of Hoster?
Have you tried cleaning out temporary files? Defragmenting the hard drive? What have you added to the computer since starting to use Hoster? What other programs are running in the background? I will say that Vista is a memory hog and will slowdown the longer you use it. (XP will do this too but not as badly.
