New Computer and Upgrade

Hello all, I have purchase Hoster twice. The first time I installed on my laptop and installed the allowed second computer on my back up laptop. Then couple of years later I had another computer built and purchased hoster for that in 8/2008 but never installed my allowed install on a backup computer because I did not have one at the time. I have since got a desktop for the house that I can now download the second install. Being its been since august will Hoster automatically see once I put my download link in that I only have this on one computer and it will allow me to download it on the second computer? Also, all the versions I have are 3. something an earlier. Would I have to pay an upgrade fee because of the time between my last upgrade? Thanks for your help. Bob

First question is what exact version of 3 are you trying to install on the new computer?
Is the new computer XP or Vista?
I would recommend though that you look at the newest version and see what changes and added features it now has. You might want to upgrade all of them.

Since it is 3.321A then it will work fine on either XP or Vista.
When you install make sure that you have the computer connected to the internet so that MTU will see and approve the install.

Thanks dale, So if im understanding correctly I will be able to load onto a second computer since I only put this on 1 back in 8/2008? Also, when I upgrade current version is there an additional charge going to 4.08 version? Thanks

Theoretically yes you can install 3.321A on the new computer. I say that because there is always the chance of unforseen problems. Make sure you have the new computer up to date with all the Custom updates (except Hardware updates as these tend to be out of date anyway or not the right updates) from Microsoft before you install it. That should eliminate any problems.
Yes the 4.08 upgrade cost of $69.99. In your case 2 upgrades, one for each license of 2 installs for the 4 computers. You can either open Hoster and go to Help/Check for Upgrades and buy them through there (only buy once for each license) or go to Support/Version Upgrades and buy them through there.
I would highly suggest that you SAVE the download instead of clicking on RUN. That way you only have to download it once, copy it to a flash drive or CD and use it on all 4 computers, putting in the correct license number for each. This also gives you a back-up inc ase you need to re-install it for some reason at a later date.
