Yep, If you are lucky and they are all layed out in the same way ie disc_track song _singer this is just a example you can import many at the same time, i would also recomend all the mp3gs are in the same folder as well.

They show in search. I know they are there because I can see them on the directory, and I can play them if I click on MP3G on the Hoster screen.

On which directry can you see them, i would forget about your song book for now and work out where your files have gone. If your saying the song you know is a mp3g file is in your hoster song book then you must at, one time, used the import funtion to get these on to your data base, also once they are imported they will the be renamed a kma file, if this is the case you must have mislade them somewhere or not have selected folder for the add or rebuild database. Importing a mp3g does not remove the mp3g original it just creates a new kma file.

Ok, I went to one of the folders containing the MP3G's and re-imported them. They now show up in the directory. I will try a few more and make sure it wasnt a fluke. They aren't KMA's, they are still MP3G's.

It may say that in the play window or in the edit track window but in the kma folder it should say KMA although the earlier version may differ, Ok it's 11.56 pm and i git to be up at four for work so i will bid you good luck and good night. I hope i have been of use.
Ps go to your error log text and delete the content, its dated 03,2008 so it not you current problem.

Hoster does not use the original MP3G files when playing except when you use the MP3G button on the main screen and that is a temporary import. If you have imported them through the Import from Hard Drive then they have been re-formated to KMA and that copy has been placed in your Save To folder.
The only folders you should list in the Rebuild Folder List are the ones with KMA files in them. Do not include the ones with MP3G files in them as they won't be included in the database again.
I should have called it Merge instead of Add. The new versions call the function Add. Either way this will hopefully clear the duplicates.

Actually if you see the type of file (in the Edit Songs tool as I don't think that is a column on the playlist in 3.321) it will say it is an HDMP3G.

I've been importing them for a bit and it seems to be working. Tedious, but working.

When you click the button for your mpeg files, select all files or the type of files you have and see if comes up on the window. If Those files were already imported before, put a check on the button and your files will re-appear.

You can find where any .kma file is on your computer from the search dialog in windows.
Go to Start/search. from the left pane click all files and folders, in the "All or part name type .kma in the "look in box" make sure your connected hard drives are listed, from advanced options tick boxes "search hidden files & search sub folders, then press search.
It may take a little while, when the list populates from the views menu select details, then click the in folder heading which will put them all in order of folders. from here you can see if there were any folders that you omitted from your files when doing a rebuild data base.

Hope this helps
