cd drive

I went back to the oldest version I had, I believe it was 3.4, opened it and had it recognize my cd drive that I use to load a disk at a show (mine is D drive) and saved it.
I then closed that version and re-opened 4.8 and hit cancel when it ask for a default drive and mine started working when I want to import/load someones disk at a show.
Prior to opening the older version and saving the (D) default drive I could not get mine to work in 4.8.
I believe the "key" is to saving the drive in the older version.
Hope this helps.
Harry

4.08 will not ask me for a default version again. I can go into the tools and retest but a cancel there does not accomplish a thing. I'm stuck in limbo

Thanks for you help

I did go back to 3.4 and made sure the drive worked fine. But when I went back to 4.08 it took me straight to the main Hoster screen, not to the drive screen like it should.

I did finally get it to work. Thanks for your help I hope there are no future problems as a result of this. Is there something that will have to be done once the fix is in?

Thanks Stu

Stu,
We'll have to wait and see how MTU chooses to handle this bug. Now that your CD/DVD device is working you should be good to go.

Glad your back on track, enjoy the software.

Jim
