You are going to have to give us more information than that in order to help you.
Vista or XP? Is this just beginning to happen or has it been going on since you installed? What else is running at the same time you are running Hoster? What are you doing when it starts jumping? Would it be wise to upgrade to 4.08? Is it really wise to not upgrade as the only thing that 4.08 has changed is to make roughly 49 fixes to make the version 4 stable and function correctly? And this upgrade is free. Read about these fixes on the website.
