I would go to Tools/Options and reset the display. Then Drag the display over to the second monitor and manually resize. That is the way I do it because I have it connected to 6 different and rather old televisons.

Thumbs up

Well, I have been running a show for 3 hours without a hiccup...Man, All of YOU are "THE GREATEST" ! ... ..... Believe me when I say Thanks to Everyone.... I Finally got everything adjusted, all the Window updates are running, graphics are perfect and things could not be better (Only till I get the video upgraded and can run 4.06). And to Admin. for jumping in and helping, what a superb company. I don't remember how exactly I found MTU other than looking around on the net and giving them a try. I had no idea what I was getting into but MTU was Obviously the Right Choice. I'm sure I'll be asking for help again sometime and I hope I'll be able to do the same for someone else one day. I have been in business for myself (Sales & Service) for 28 years and never before have I found a support system that would come close to this. Thanks again to everyone on the last six pages of this thread. Glen T.

Amen to that! My next step is for Santa to bring me a new machine for Christmas (I actually think I'm going to buy 2, one for me and one for my lovely wife) and I want to be sure to get what I need this time. Thanks to all again....

I thought so......hers won't need to do what I will want mine to do but maybe she won't notice.......... I guess I'll go ahead with Vista . I have never put my hands on a Vista machine yet but I might as well get ready for it... How would you spec it out? I can get my son to build it for me to just about any specs.

The key is the video card. In my experience with Hoster the processor is the LEAST important. Get as much video horsepower as you can afford. In my perfect world, it would be easily upgradeable. Next would be system memory. Max it out. See if your son can get the operating system installed without all the crapware. Better yet, if you buy from the business side, I think you can still get XP. I just think we are going to look back on Vista like we do Windows Millennium Edition. After that it would just be personal preference. I would also consider a dual boot system. One for running Hoster with a clean operating system and the other if you need to use it for other things.

In my sig, you can see that my test machine is Vista. The more I use it, the more I hate it. I don't need hand holding from my operating system. I am sure that the so called "security" features are fine for my grandmother, but I need to get things done. Finally, after fighting with it for a while now, I turned off the UAC (user account control). That is the most irritating thing on the planet.

Hmmm.....very interesting. I would rather have XP but I figured they would quit supporting it. Every machine I have bought I sent to my son in Va. (software engineer) and had him dump their stuff and load what I wanted. Then he sends it to me ready to go. I'll print your suggestion and have it ready when Santa asks what i want for Christmas.............Now all I have to worry about is if I've been Good or Bad .........

As it happens, I had to pull out an old machine to use the Parallel port for an old piece of equipment. It has Win98 on it. When I hooked it to the internet, I was prompted for security updates from Microsoft. So no, I think they will still support XP for a while, they just won't add any NEW things to it.
