I'm sorry you have had problems. There was some interaction with our PRIOR Hoster Demo, but that was fixed last week, and a new version will now download.

Error processing file:
C:\MTU\Hoster\bucket.mdb
Not a valid password. (3031)
Would like to see "Help". message"
P.S. His computer is not online either so I couldn't uninstall and re-install to see if that works. He has to get Comcast out to fix his internet connection issue.
Wally, when did you download the Hoster Demo? Was it 4.06a? We just fixed it last week so it would install in its own folder, and not share the Bucket.mdb database with an installed Hoster or Hoster Lite version. If you got the latest demo, then we have a serious problem to fix.

You should be able to copy your bucket file in place of the one on it to fix this. Or if he gets his internet link fixed just re-install 3.321, using the Remove instead of Upgrade.
The Demo is really for those who don't have Hoster and want to try it before they buy.
Dale is right on the first statement, as far as the OLDER Hoster Demo. The new one we uploaded last week does NOT conflict with an existing Bucket.mdb database.

Hoster and all other MTU programs are NOT setup to INSTALL without Internet connections. I'm sorry, but that's what we have been forced to. I don't have a single program on my computer (and I have hundreds) that will install without Internet connection. It is a requirement today....

The other thing is, as I mentioned when I un-installed Hoster Demo, and tried to use Hoster full version I got that different message that "version doesn't match registration" which does not allow it to run at all. Not understanding why that's happening.

If I can replace the Demo version of "bucket" with my version of bucket and that will work I guess that will be OK to leave Demo version there until he is ready to upgrade. But I know my version of "bucket" is not the latest available and there's probably a lot of discs that are in the new one that is not in mine, but until he can get his internet connection fixed that'll be better than nothing. I had his computer at my house on my internet connection when I installed them.
Wally, from what you say here I believe you installed the OLDER Hoster Demo.

You can replace your friend's Bucket.mdb with yours SINCE you are running 3.321(a?).
