Carl, version 3.21 is available on the Support Downlaods page. Install this one and then upgrade to 4.06. You should always SAVE your downloads rather than RUN them. That way you have a copy for any emergency.
Did you try going back in to check on those ticket numbers to see if they had submitted an answer?

I tried no go. I am so sick of this, 4.00 comes out i do all the updates and 2 computers go down within 3 days. so I struggle for days to download hoster on another computer, (download links) the lyrics are so far off that it is unsingable. now i buy another computer ($$$) and can't download hoster again. when I remove a version using the internet, Remove button it should have freed up a version immeditaly. But no, not for old crazy carl, nothing about hoster and 4.?? has ever been easy. ever since MTU started trying to make zip files work, hoster has gone down hill. I realze that support is busy, but so am I. Support should be able to look at all support tickets every morning and after lunch. there truely cannot be that many. a dozen a day, two dozen.
i don't save the downloads because i have never had any success doing it. and if there is a download link in support the one i found takes me back to the normal download page. and as long as i have been a customer and forum member i have never heard of anyone else have there download link crossed through. when you use the updated one it says it is for a different version.

I don't understand. When you click on a download button you have the options to RUN, SAVE or CANCEL. Click on SAVE and give it a location on your computer to save it to. What is so hard about that?
How many tickets they get a day (I have no idea but know it was high for a long time) is not the problem. They have a backlog of tickets which is why they have not been able to get to them that fast. There is only one person working Support and not everyone needs just a reset.
Not sure what you are doing to get the download. Go to the MTU website, click on the Support button up top. Look in left column for download links and click on it, then click on the link for Video Hoster. Scrool down and you will see a version 3.321 version with a download button. Click it and download it.

Did you buy two upgrades or just one? If you only bought one then it will only install on two computers not four. To get four you would have had to buy two upgrades, one for each version 3 license you have.
Your problem is the version 3.1? does not have the online removable code. Only the last couple version 3.2? had this set up and as well as the version 4.0?s.
If by download code you are referring to the registration code then yes it does require one and you should have two version 3 codes. If they both say that it is installed on two computers then you will have to wait for MTU to unlock one.

Dale I own 2 versions of 3.?? and 1 version of 4.05. and that is the problem i have only one version 3 code and that has been crossed out, it tells me to use the new number which does not work it it a 4.0 number and states that thisnumber is for a different version than the one I am trying to install 3.?? Last time you told me to use the crossed out code and it worked. if you want you can pm me and i will give user name and password so you can see. i trust you

Carl, I am sorry you are experiencing problems.

First, what is the Computer Name of the computer you want to remove one of your installs from? Is it jane\s or kelli? Once we know that we can clear one of your 3.321a installation records. I'm waiting to see your answer so I can help you.

You have not installed your Hoster RegCode starting with T0001.... recently. It is a valid RegCode and can be used. You can find it in your MTU Account.

You need to install Hoster 3.321a on your new computer with the T0001.... RegCode, then use your new Hoster4UpG RegCode that ends with ...a33a to install the 4.06 upgrade on your new laptop.

Be SURE to make all the required Vista changes.

Be SURE to run Windows Update and select CUSTOM at the Microsoft site to upgrade all your Vista and XP computers. Without the latest Upgrades, Hoster won't run correctly.

I'm waiting for the Computer Name to remove. Run Hoster > Help menu > About Hoster command to see it.

Thank you thank you I have already removed by internet the version on Kelli's computer. As soon as I get 4.O6 on my new laptop, I want to remove hoster 4.05 completely from Jane's (nothing but problems) then install on a hp desktop for backup. I do have a couple of questions through. my 3.?? reg code has a line through it--WHY? and I own 2 copies of 3.?? but only have one download code at least when attempting to download Hoster it tells me that it is registered on 2 computers, should I not be able to have 3.?? on 4 computers technically, and have 2 registration codes. I realize i only own 1 copy of 4.?? but will pay for another upgrade when this program works correctly. from what i have read that could be soon seems 4.06 is doing great. i want it. also i put a post about hoster demo, in hoster new requests, i wonder what your thoughts are about this.

i do not show on my products page any code that starts with T0001, maybe that is what the problem is. what are the last digits
