Most of the problems with 4X seem to be coming from the Vista users myself included). You are running XP on both of your machines. Is there another beta tester on these forums that is testing on a Vista system?
Thanks for all your help.

There are many users with Vista who have posted on this Forum. Most of them have said that 4.03 works better for them than 4.04, including myself. When a problem arises on stage, just use 3.4 that came with it.

I am sure they are BETA testing 4.05 on both XP & Vista, which will be available soon. Jim is just giving us a "heads up". MTU won't release 4.05 until they feel confident it will work on both systems.

If you look at the beginning of this "Thread", Jim also posted the link for anyone who wants 4.03 that may not have saved it before they went to 4.04.

Sure. What's the question?

Problem is of course many problems some others are having, I'm not having on my vista machine and never have had. And at the same time there's a couple of issues I'm having and have had for a while that no one else has reported a problem with.
So what my machine shows is not necesarily a good indicator for anyone else, but I'm more than happy to give it a look-see.

MadJim was doing MTU a favor by providing a download of Hoster 4.03, albeit against our license.

I am not against what he did as it significantly reduced the load on MTU, which Jim knew it would do.

I modified the link in Jim's original post to point to the updated MTU Hoster Download page where we now offer downloads of 4.03 full and Lite.

I'm sorry that I didn't step in here earlier to protect Jim, but I have been burning 12-20 hours a day and just wasn't available.

If you feel there is something wrong in a Thread you can report it and I will receive notification.
