Basically, early buyers got a higher discount as they tolerated the bugs that are inevitable in any new release. They spent time helping us identify the bugs and rough edges, so you don't have to go through what they did.

Also, those who are "later" upgraders, require more support than the early buyers.... thus, the price went up.

You could have bought the upgrade when 4.0 FIRST came out. You just didn't need to install it.

Purchasing the Upgrade at the lower price, "early on," which, at the time, didn't state anything about being a tester, as a result of buying at the "Lower Price," would have given you the "NEW" Registration Code, which goes with 4.0 and above.

Once you were satisfied that ANY current version of 4.xx was stable, you could have installed the "Original" 4.0 version, using the new REG CODE, and, then, simply, installed the CURRENT version as a F R E E Upgrade.

For me, when I see that a NEW REG CODE is needed, it makes me wonder Why a "NEW REG CODE?" Makes me think that I may be giving up all rights to PREVIOUS versions with the PRIOR Reg Code(s).

I would rather Pay the FULL Price for 4.xx, under a family members name, and keep everything intact for the Previous versions.

i know what you're saying, maybe you didn't notice, but the reason why i didn't upgrade was because i was having problems with the sp3 updates, without this problem i probably would be one of the first people that upgraded..i'm not worried about the price, just wanted to make sure i have all the requirements needed to run hoster with a little bit of a problem..but anyway thank you for your suggestions.

You might want to consider, for the future, downloading an update when it's available. You don't have to "install" it just because you downloaded it. I almost didn't get any 4.0x because of all the reported problems, but Dale suggested I get it anyway & just install it on my backup for practice. I'm glad I did, as it only cost $69, so now I got 4.04 for free.

MTU really is GREAT with prices and updates!!!!!

But, I am guilty of being impatient at times.

Prices

I feel as a exclusive user of MTU products I feel let down by the price increase. I have bought a new licence (Hoster Lite) for a new computer and getting the two other computers ready for up grading and with out warning up goes the price which for two licence upgrades for me in NZ is now $470.00 NZ dollars. I normally keep up with the up grades but with all thats been going on with Hoster I have paused the upgrades as I do not need problems running a show. I do not consider this to be looking after loyal customers. However I will continue to upgrade my new Hoster Lite but will not be upgrading the other two any time soon. Keep up the good work at MTU

Thanks guys these progames are just great!
