![]() I used the new 4.04 tonight at a small three hour show that turned in to like five hours not complaining was great!!!!! The show ran very quickly no hang ups with the cue or play buttons ran like a dream set it on auto because all my singers knew who they where after tonight and let it roll. Everybody was extremly happy with the show I was extremely excited because everything played without having to open another application tonight. Video worked with no problems as did audio. BRAVO MTU YOU HIT THE NAIL ON the HEAD WITH THIS ONE...

I have found that Hoster 4 is too cool to run a show with and your post here proves it to all! ![]() You bring up a very important point about running in auto mode and "letting it roll". This is how auto mode should be used. If a show is run in auto mode, the KJ should not be stopping and starting every other song or so. This is what manual mode is for. Like anything else, we have to learn how to run Hoster 4 just like we learend how to drive a car or a boat. Being a beta tester I beat on Hoster 4.0X REAL hard. One thing I disovered is if I ran a show in auto mode and I just let it roll, I never had a problem. If I am in auto mode and run the program like I'm in manual mode, things got weird (sync stuff). When a karaoke host runs their show in auto mode, they should let Hoster 4 do all of the stopping and starting of the tracks. (Of course you will have to stop the show to go home or GOD knows what else and this is fine.) Lesson: Do not run a show by stoping and starting the tracks manually when you are in auto mode. I use manual mode so I can run my big mouth between songs. ![]() Thanks Again! Jim ![]()

Right on Jim but most of us like to run our big mouths between songs it's our nature Still have a little time even in auto to crack a joke or say something stupid I have it set where there is at least a few seconds to get my two cents in there between song while the next singer is coming up to sing and believe me I even have time to put my foot in my mouth on some occassion, ever tell a joke where the crowd sounds ;like a bunch of crikets yeap been there done that!!! You are right as host /entertainers we have to find our own way of working the program some prefer Manual I personally perfer the auto gives me less time to embrass myself ![]()
