Hey Rob,
I'm with ya. You can use 3.40 or go back to another version. I assure you, we are all working hard for a solid release of 4.04.

Thanks

Jim

Jim,

I am just as excited abiut this upgrade as everybody else did you run into any major drawbacks when testing this upgrade, I haven't really had any problems out of 4.03 the only version I had major issuses with was 4.0-4.02 after that and some major upgrading on my laptop I haven't had any problems. I LOVE MY HOSTER and only forsee bigger and better in the future.

None at all. Like you 4.03 works great for me, won't do without it. The biggest problem MTU faced with 4.04 was getting video to run on Vista correctly, every time. It's been a bear but we (the users & MTU) came out on top.

One change that was made out of common sence was we now see whatever is on the Show Display on the Preview Display. To read the lyrics I have to unlock the preview window and make it a little bigger but this is no big deal to me. It's good for one gig where I can't see the TV.

They fixed a bunch of small bugs (Some I didn't see). My testing suggested they release 4.04 two betas ago but other tester found issues that could not be allowed in the release.

4.04 is like driving 4.03 only better.

Jim

Awesome, so release date was the 16th do we have an estamated date for Hoster Power 4.04 or will we be waiting a few more days.

Can't wait for the end of October myself I believe this is going to be an interesting trip to say the least and by then we will have used the new 4.04 a few hundred times and can compare notes. The hoster users here are so scared of change they don't want to upgrade from 3.xxx. I have talked to several that say they won't upgrade, to me this is crazy how could you not upgrade a product that only keeps getting better Yeah I know that there have been a few bugs here and there but you can always convert back to an older version if the upgrade didn't work.

MTU will have a beta for testing tomorrow I'm sure. If it passes, it will be released ASAP.

I'm like a turttle, I have to stick my neck out to get anywhere.
