Thumbs down Hoster 3.321 lost when tried 4.03 demo..

I tried the demo 4.03 version but wasn't really familiar enough with my 3.321 version to appreciate the improvements. I've had my Hoster program for almost 1 year and have never really used it. Well this weekend I really need to, and after trying the demo of the upgrade, I can't get my old version back that I had loaded several hundred songs into.
I get:
"Error processing file:
C:\MTU\Hoster\bucket.mdb
Not a valid password. (3031)
Would like to see "Help". message"

Tried to "see Help" and I get:
"Cannot find the jeterr40.chm file. Do you want to try and find this file yourself"

I can't do anything with my old 3.321 version, and I see that only the new version is available anymore. I was never able to copy my program onto a disc, when I tried, it only copied a shortcut. So am I forced to purchase the upgrade to 4.03 version now? I submitted a Support request form and received my ticket number. That was 3-4 days ago and it says that the status of it is that it hasn't even been viewed yet!
Can anyone assist me with this problem, or at least let me know that what I believe is correct.......if you try the demo, then you are forced to upgrade even if you choose not to purchaseh the entire program?
Hmmm.....pretty smart sales tactics M.T.U.!!

you need to update your computer from the custom selection in microsoft windows updates



why dont you restore your computer to the date when it worked !

Tried that but it says that "some drivers & programs" can't be restored.
Thanks for the speedy response!!!!!!
Any other suggestions????

how far back did you go ?


you should never update hoster without doing a microsoft update first.

I went back to the day before I dl'd the demo.

I will do a MS update then try "System Restore" again, and if that doesn't work, I'll use the link you sent.
Thanks bunches!!!!! Not as HUGE an immediate issue right now, as I've made other arrangements for providing my services this weekend (what I needed my Hoster for). But I did want to know if I just needed to go ahead and purchase the upgrade. I'll try these steps first, and let you know if I'm successful. Thanks again!!!!

hoster 4.xx comes with version 3.4 if you are having problems with 4.xx

you have to retrieve it through my computer/programs/micro


you should see if its there, it might not come with the lite version.

I've got the full version 3.321 not lite.
I'll post again on Sunday after trying your suggestions.
Got to prepare with what I've got for tomorrow, and
need to work on updating my song list books.
