I am finding the same thing to be true, 4.03 never goes out of sync when I run my show in manual mode. I have a big mouth so I don't use break music. I normally use manual mode like tonight, with no sync problems.

I was running Hoster 4.03 in auto mode last night to test it.

I have to agree with Goonie about using manual mode. I believe this gives Hoster enough time to get it's next song up and do all of the other cool stuff.

There's just so much going on in Hoster 4. The show display alone has to switch from the lyrics screen to the intermission screen and make all of the changes to it. Scroll, no scroll, picture etc...

Let's see if we can find a combo of actions that makes the lyrics go out of sync every time (may not happen )..... You guys are helping more than you know!

Thanks

Jim

Update 4.04 Beta One

Hoster 4.04 beta one was just released.

Video now plays on the preview screen.

I've been beating on 4.04 beta one for an hour now and I can't get the lyrics to go out of sync. Just wanted to share the good news.

You da man

Jim,
You boldly go where no others dare to. You painstakingly try to ruin a song....just for our sake. You twidle the buttons and tweak the "tweakers" unlike any karoake show host would (or should!)

Thanks for all your work on the betas brother.....it sure does make a lot of us more comfy when we upgrade....

G,
You are welcome. The MTU beta team is a collection of top entertainers dedicated to Hoster, the program that helps make them money. All of these guys (none or us are MTU employees ) deserve a round of applause!

Not yet but it's coming. Other bugs have popped up that must be fixed to establish stability. Hang in there!

Sky,
MTU has to get Hoster to the point where it can play video correctly (the video MUX not working issue still has to be fixed) before they can have it import video. What good is a file that imports but won't play.

I thought that's what 4.04 is for - to fix the MUX so Video plays properly?! Videos already play in 4.03, just not the MUX button so that you can't turn off the vocals.

Yes videos play in 4.03 but the Preview screen is blank (no video).

The MUX is critical. Folks need this so they can block the side that has the vocal on it when they play it.

Hoster has alot more componets than just importing video to be concered with. Some of these have caused issues that must be addressed. I know you are as anxious as the rest of us but "Rome wasn't built in a day".
