Question about reading custom discs

I open Hoster, import songs menu, sel "Import CD tracks" from a custom assembly, click on "search local database" and the table lists 15 karaoke songs on the disc. They are of course unknown. I then right click on the title of number 1 and continue throught to the end putting in the name and artist. When finished, I get a "Hoster needs to close" and I have lost my data twice. At this point, I once have selected all tracks once and the next time I didn't select any of them before re-naming. Should I be trying to rename them at this point or later down the road? I couldn't find anything specific in the manual.

Not Normal.

Hoster should not crash at this point.
Not sure what would cause this. Maybe out of date CDROM firmware?

What version of Hoster.
Have you tried importing the disk without adding names? Does it crash?
Have you imported a disk using the database info? Does it crash.
If using 4.xx have you tried using 3.4 (or vice versa).

Version 4.03. I just purchased and downloaded it. All the same equipment worked fine on the demo. Should I name the title and artist directly after it is imported?

Question about reading custom discs
What type of custom disc? If it is a Pro-burn Hoster has not been able to import them because of some protection scheme on them.

Dale,

No, it is a Karaoke Freedom disk. I read and imported same disc in demo. I may need to know the sequence after I import from CD. Do I select first or rename the Unknowns first or does it matter?

Dale,

All of a sudden it seems to work.....wish I remember what I did! Ever heard of McAllen or Mission Texas? That would be about 5.5 miles from nowhere!
