Minor Marquee Issue

I have just installed 4.03 and so far so good. I have a huge show this weekend so I need to make sure everything is up and running ahead of time.

Anyway no matter what I select (use) in the Marquee list, only the second one on the list actually shows up on the Marquee. This is the same even if I uncheck all the USE boxes. I have only put a few in to try it out and it is not life or death but I would like to have it right.

I just checked the marquee in 4.03 and it seems to be working like it should. Remember to hit apply to see the line you selected.

Are you clicking on the "Apply" button?

Select the line you want to show and click apply.

Hum.... it sounds like it skipped a groove. Let's try to reset it so to speak.

First off lets get it to work with one line. Type a statement in the top line and clear the rest. Hit apply and that line should run in the marquee.

Does this happen?

I have been playing around with this for a few minutes and here is what I came up with. I cleared all the text and unchecked the boxes. I put the text back in one line at a time. Which ever is the first line to have text (regardless of which line in the list) is the only text it will display. For example: If I put "The Music Geek Sound Services" in the first line that is the one it will display no matter how many other lines I have populated or checked. If I clear all the lines out and put a phrase in another line, check it, hit apply etc, that one is the only one that will display despite adding and checking other lines.

I know I suck at trying to explain things but I hope you get the idea.

You should be able to put as many lines as you want in the marquee setup. You can even change a line while a song is playing. You put a check in the box in front of the one (or ones) you want to see.

Let's say you have three lines entered.

If leave all of the boxes unchecked and hit apply, the MTU/Hoster banner should run.

If you click on "Use Top" and hit apply, the top statement should run.

If you click on "Selected" and hit apply, all of the statements that are checked will run back to back.

If it's not working like this, try reinstalling 4.03.

Found it. Somehow there was a check in both the use top as well as selection buttons. Stupid me, I didn't see that before. I hit the use top and the selection one went away and now I can select either and all is working.
