Vic,
I was just there Sunday. We go to Flagler Beach every weekend we're in San Mateo, it's our home beach. I love the drive along the ocean shore, you can't get that anywhere but Flagler. Let's pray the storm doesn't take anymore of the beach! Jim ![]()

Ok. I pulled my head out of my hole and see that the storm is coming from the west. Flagler Beach is safe. Jim ![]()

GOOD NEWS! I hope our place in San Mateo is okay, we'll see next weekend, I'm sure it's allright.
A question for you about your problem not seeing Hoster, have you changed your screen resolution recently or worked with your video card? Jim ![]()

I wish everyone the best and will keep you in my prayers wherever that storm ends up! I upgraded to hoster 4.3 just about 20 mins ago and its working fine now! I have a really silly question.... everyone keeps talking about importing video... what exactly are you guys talking about? Is there Karaoke with video with it?? If so, how do I get some of that??

The only karaoke video I have was made from a Sound Choice disc with Media Clog on it. It wouldn't import so I video taped it and converted it to a wmv file. Some folks used lasar discs that they have converted to a video format. It's all good stuff. I hope this helps. Jim ![]()

The best ones in my opinion is the Original Footage brand that uses live footage and music videos from the 60's and 70's performing the songs with the karaoke in nearly perfect sync to the artist performing it. They only made about a dozen disks with about 12 songs each. United Artist Video is another good brand, they put out about 30 disks. Most everything else is hit or miss in my opinion. They are usually multiplexed so you can turn the vocals on or off. Acekaraoke sells them as well as a number of others. You can get them on DVD too but those require special ripping software and some work to get them to your hardrive. VCD are as easy as open the disk and drag and drop. VCD's will also play in many karaoke players (JVC, RSQ) as well as many DVD players. Sam |
