Determining zip problem?

Has anyone figured out what kind or why zip files are a problem? I have waited to upgrade this time to see if there was going to be any problems. In fact, I upgraded my test system before the “no XP” deadline. So now I have a fresh XP computer ready to try Hoster 4.X and there are all these problems with zip files. Out of almost 10,000 songs, I only gave about 1,000 from zip. Of course, I have several back ups just in case. Has there been ant discussion of how to pre-determine whether you are going to have a problem of not?

I am afraid I will have the "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is!" problem. I stole that from Dale.

I am close to the gamble.

If I were you, I'd wait just a bit. 4.03 is a major overhaul of Hoster. I feel certain that the "ZIP" issue will be addressed.

I Hope This Helps

Jim

Thanks Jim, been a long time MTU user. I know they are VERY good at what they do. I am not doing shows at the moment so 3.21 works great for my home use. I will upgrade soon.

Hey Mark,

You'd do good to wait until 4.03 is released. There are some major changes being made in this release that will clear up a buch of issues.

I've been using Hoster 4 at my shows 5 nights a week since before the release of Hoster 4 and I can tell you that you'll be very happy with the program, it's a karaoke host's dream come true.

Hang in there!
