Hoster 4.1 runtime error

Getting a runtime error no. 39 "an interface has too many methods to fire events from."
Happens when trying to play a KMA file from a flash drive via usb or from hard drive when I copied it over. Music plays, no lyrics.

Thanks
Dave

Vista or XP?

What version of Windows Media Player?

Got Custom Updates?

Got SP3 (XP)?

Got Internet Explorer 7?

You have to have SP3. Be sure to get all of the custom updates after you install SP3.

Did you happen to run a Registry Cleaner recently? Reason I ask is someone in here discovered that his reg cleaner had deleted a couple of items from the registry that were neeeded for Hoster. He restored those items and everything was working again.

If that isn't it then check this link. They have a regcure routine to correct this error.

Hoster 4.1 runtime error

OK, thanks for all the great help. For the grand total of $ 40 bucks the runtime error has been resolved.

HOWEVER:
I am still having the same problem with lyrics. I get the music but no lyrics (graphics) on the play screen. When I play any other kma song, it works fine, but this one I am trying to play from the K-oke button as if its from a singer.

In Microstudio, it plays perfectly.

I have a blank singers screen with great music playing.

Thanks..

Importing from a CD or from Hard drive?
If you are importing from a CD what did you use to burn it to the CD?

I tried one from the Hard drive and it worked fine. Don't have any on CD at the moment.

Hoster K-oke play button

I have downloaded a zipped mp3 cdg song which I paid for. I ran songverter to convert to kma. Both play fine on microstudio. Both play music on Hoster but no graphics are shown.

CDG songs from CD work fine. Always have.

Zip files are a problem in the new Hoster and a work around is being worked on for next release, so that could be the reason it won't play.
Converting to KMA is a capability in Songverter but really is not a good idea as it doesn't do the header correctly. I am thinking that this has been reported before about not playing correctly.
Try just converting or unzipping it to MP3+G and see if that will play.

I have also had problems with ZIP files I have downloaded. What has worked best for me ..... is using Songverter to convert ZIP to BIN and then Hoster imports them correctly. Sometimes they work after converting to mp3g, but not always. But converting to BIN always works!
