Holster 3.321 would not install in Vista

Feature Tranfer Error, Feature: Holster, Component: App Executables, File - , Error: Acess Denied. I tried several times with the same results. Even when I tried to re-install 3.315 it would give the same error. I have to do restore to the last known restore point on my laptop so I could have hoster back. I believe I have corrupt (Vista) OS.

Did you try turning off the uac, to see if that worked.

I put 3.317 on my new Vista laptop & I know it was a lot more complicated than it was when I installed a previous version on my old XP lapt. So, make sure you followed ALL the instructions for installing Hoster on Vista. Missing just one detail could cause the problem.

I finally had Hoster 3.321 installed and running on my Laptop with vista. As I suspected I had corrupt Vista (OS). I had to run the factory setting recovery state because my back-up disk was also corrupted and i could not recover anything from it. It took awhile to re-install everything I had. Now I have my UAC on and hoster 3.321 running and so with my DJ program. many thanks to everyone in this forum

If it is OK to ask on this Forum, what DJ program do you use with Hoster?
I find it pretty easy to just use Windows Media Player when just playing songs for breaks, etc.

PCDJFX for me

Window media players for just staright play and DSS DJ if I want two or more songs mixed together (end and begginning ) non stop.

Virtual DJ 4.3 for me; however, once in a while I DO use windows media.
