Your problem sounds like the typical Vista problem. Find the Hoster folder under the Program Files on your C: drive using Windows Explorer, click on it then find the Compatbility Files Button and click on it. That should fix it and allow you to work with and print your songbook.

DDOUGLASS, I WILL TRY THIS. I HAVE USED THE HOSTER PROGRAM IN THE PAST AND IT WORKED GREAT. THAT IS THE REASON I CHOSE IT TO DO MY GIGS ON THIS NEW UNIT. RIGHT NOW I'M READY TO SMASH THE NEW COMPUTER AND THE PROGRAM AND SAY FORGET IT!! HOWEVER I DO HAVE AN INVESTMENT IN IT AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME RETURNS THIS YEAR, RIGHT NOW I DO HAVE BOOKINGS FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR AND IT IS IMPORTANT TO STAY ON TOP OF THE GAME! thanks for your help. Your directions helped. Now it will only route to Microsoft Office which is not a preinstalled program on our laptop. how can we get it to go to microsoft works or excel or is this possible, we will have to puchase microsoft office and are trying to avoid this. Songbook will open but only in microsoft office. Also, any songs we add to KMA is not being routed into the songbook. How can we get the songs from hoster to the songbook? thanks for all your help.

Open the Songbooks tab in Hoster and then press the Select Viewer Button. Read the info there and it will tell you how to change which program opens the file. For Excel you can't have it open it directly, but have to do it a bit different as explained there.
