Key change causes beep and audio problems

Hi,
I am testing hoster before I make my purchase. Everything works great except if I use key change.
When key is set to 0 it plays fine. If I change the key before or during the song I get a beep and dropped audio every few lines. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

What are the specs of your machine.
what version of windows are you running.
please read the manual.
turn off sounds in windows.
if you are using Vista, hoster will do that for you. Bob

Similar problem

I have a Vista 64 system in my office and had a similar problem with the demo version audio would cut out every 15 seconds or so. Never had any beeps.

Not sure why but the full version did not have the same problem. Might have something to do with the limits Hoster demo puts on importing songs (the 30 seconds thing)

Have been using full version for months with no problem.

50% of the reason MTU provides a demo to try is so you can make sure the program will be compatible with the computer you are planning to use.

Maybe there is some small difference between the demo and the full product ? but there isn't supposed to be.
The prudent thing to do is resolve this issue before spending money on a program that may or may not work on your system.
Asking for a refund can be uncomfortable for everyone involved.

IMHO

The demo versions of Hoster and Keyrite, our stand-alone file key changer, both are hampered so the files are not usable. We had a devastating experience with our DNoise demo in 2000. It only processed 2 minutes of a file, but it was so good that within the first month our demo was available, 40,000 copies were downloaded from one French download site we found, and our sales went to zero. That mistake killed the best noise removal product on the market.

Many pro-audio software "processors" such as key changers, add beeps into the processed demo stream. We took this approach. We try to make them as unobtrusive as possible, but as you are posting, they can be a confusion.

The full Hoster, as has been testified here, does not have the hampering beeps, nor does our Keyrite software product.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

Lord willing, we plan to be around a long time to continue developing Hoster and supporting our customers. We have insured our free demos won't put us out of business. Hopefully they won't keep you from buying!

Beeps on key change - Now I will definitely buy

Other than the beeps, the software works great on my laptop. At first I thought my laptop was not compatable, but now that I know the beeps are there just for the demo, I will definitely buy the product.

Thanks for the info.
