You may have a bad download. Please return to the Hoster 3.318 download link and download the install program again. Run the new install program and do a REMOVE first. This will remove your 3.317 version. Then, run the install program a second time to install 3.318.

It is hard to understand exactly what the problem is that you are asking for help.

If you can post just the facts of what is going wrong, not mixing in about "lost shows", we will all have an easier time to understand what the problem is you need help with.
