getting more than 1 song at a time

Dont know about the earlier versions, but none of the versions I have used allow more than one song to import from the main screen buttons.
The only way to do multiple songs is to add them to the database via the import from Hard Drive or CD.

I'm sure I haven't tried all the versions but I have tried on several occasions throughout the years and have not been able to do it. I think I've seen it in the new feature request forum however.
