Importing CD-G discs Graphics,no music

If I import CD-g discs into Hoster I get graphics but no music.
I have Hoster 3316 and have been using it since it came out without problems till now.
I use M-Studio 4001
I use a Plextor PX-716 1-09. I don't believe the problem is with the Drive because I had the same failure using a Plextor PX-W4824 1.09. I can copy discs to Microstudio using either drive.
I have two other computers and Hoster works OK on both of them.
I can tell by the size of file that the information is not being loaded. My average song would be about 3000KB and the size or the download is about half that. Looks like I'm not reading-writting the music portion of the disc.
Windows was just updated.

Working until now on this computer?
Are you sure these are CDG discs and not MP3+G? MP3+G has 2 files one with a cdg extension is only the graphics and the MP3 file is the audio.

Do you have audio in Microstudio?

What is the size of the CDG file before you import?

If it ain't broke don't fix it

The discs are MP3+g as You suspected. The same discs did work on my other two computers and for whatever reason are now working on the computer I was having problems with. I'm going to leave it alone. Thanks for the time.

You were probably trying to import as CDG instead of as MP3+g and that is why you were only getting graphics.
