Trouble Creating/Viewing/Printing Songbook

...but no songbook. when i select databases it shows an Access program file titled "Bucket.mdb. but again no songbook. i am connected always to the internet if that makes any difference at all.

I was having the same problem...the way to solve this (assuming you are using VISTA...is that when you see these files...up above them you'll see an option for COMPATIBILITY FILES...when you click on this button, more folders will appear. I don't understand what that means or what that does, but I know it works!

When in doubt, try reading the manual. It tells in the second paragraph where the file is created, and it is always create there.

Except... it appears that VISTA may be saving it somewhere else. Since Vista is new, we don't have enough experience on it to say if it is storing it somewhere other than were we have programmed to create it.

Try this method (below) and you should be able to find exactly where Vista put your songbook.rtf file. I would do step 4 also just so it looks under every rock.
As has been stated above, Vista does hide those files from you that it deems as program data files and assumes that you have to run the program to access them. The songbook file isn't one that requires Hoster to look at or print it, but apparently Vista thinks it is and so hides that folder.

Search everywhere.

Usually, your searches only include files that are indexed. The index improves the efficiency of your searches by keeping track of file names and important file properties for most of the files stored on your computer. If you want to find files that are not in the index, such as files outside of your personal folder or system files, you can change the search location. 1. Open Search by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Search. 2. Click Advanced Search 3. Click the Location list, and then click Everywhere. 4. If you want to search for hidden and system files, select the Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files check box.

if it isn't my songbook hidden under a rock! thanx. so here's my next question--i notice that my songbook is by title; does creation of a songbook supercede those that came before it, or are there dozens of songbooks that i've created over the months floating around in the ether somewhere? next question--i would like to remove the five cdg's that i imported into hoster to the trash. do i just run the same search routine and search for "songs.kma?" when i find them, how do i get them to the trash? thanx

If you want to keep separate songbooks, ie. by artist and by title. You will have to create one, go to the file and rename it, then create the second. As Hoster only writes one file....songbook.rtf.
