before you delete hoster, make sure you have your download link saved to a cdrom, you only have i believe 15 days to download your upgrades..

Billyo, saving the download link will not do any good. You need to actually download the file and save it to a safe location.

Ok I did this

Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files

C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster folder and delete contents

HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster and I delete that key

Left click the Start Menu and click Run.
Type in regedit and click OK or Open.
Go to the very top of the Registry Editor. It you already see the Registry Keys expanded below, skip this step and go to the next step. Click the + beside My Computer.
Click the + Beside HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Click the + beside SOFTWARE
Click the + beside Micro Technology Unlimited
Click the + beside Hoster
Click Default to select it. WARNING! Be VERY careful to have this exact location selected. If not and you proceed, you could damage your Windows installation, requiring it to be re-installed to fix it. BE VERY CAREFUL! With Default selected, press the Delete Key Click Yes when it asks you if you are sure.
Click the X in the Top Right corner to close the Registry Editor.
Open Hoster. It will be as if you started from scratch.

Thin I tryed to reinstall and it says that it did reinstall but I look in the Hoster folder and theres nothing in there

The CD I have is 3.120 Hostersetup.exe

First I think you need to set some rights so you can see all the files. This may be why it didn't work the first time. Open Windows Explorer. Go to the Tools/Folder Options at the top. Then click on the View tab at top. Check Display contents of system folders and Show hidden files and folders. Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files.

Now go to C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster folder and delete contents (unless you have your song files in the Songs folder then don't delete that folder).

Next go to registry and find HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster and delete that key. Also go to HKey_Current_User\Software\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster
Here is the instructions on how to do this. http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?acti...7cbdf94a54101f

Then you should be able to re-install.

One question though. On the CD you are trying to install from do you have the hoster3315setup.exe file or is it a link to where you downloaded it from?
If it is only the link then you will need to submit a ticket to request a copy of the file again. This time save the file not the link.
