Anyone having problems with songs.mdb after latest upgrade?
I just installed the latest upgrade via the email link that I was sent by MTU. Now Access will not recognized any of the MDB files in the database folder.
I normally make a copy of the songs.mdb to work with and use it seperately to make my song books in Access. The specific error is: Unrecognized database format This was working before, just want to check and see if other are having this. It might be my system if you aren't. Also, the Bucket.mdb will open but requires a password. I am using Access 2003. |

It would help others who might have your same problem to know what you did to get it working under Access 2003.

This happens every time Hoster is installed.
Once Hoster is Installed, you will not be able to Double Click on any MDB files D I R E C T L Y and be successful in getting the Associated Program, in this case MS Access, to open them. If you find that you have this problem after installing Hoster, then, simply, OPEN the MS Access PROGRAM and CLOSE it. Then, you will be able to OPEN any MDB file by Double Clicking the FILE itself, from that point on or until you Install Hoster again. Hoster uses MS Access97. I believe that any NEWER MS Access version will experience this problem. Also, many may NEVER experience this problem if MDB files are OPENED from WITHIN MS Access. In other words, if you OPEN the MS Access PROGRAM, then, navigate to a MDB Database file, and select OPEN, you will NEVER see the problem of an MDB file not opening after Hoster is installed.
