Smile Reply : Format question answered

OK, here is the story giving. The Hybrid CD+G are as far as Holster is concerned nothing more then standard CD+G's and will import just fine as KMA files in Holster. The Hybrid difference is that they are including a Windows Media Data file to allow the disk to be played in your computer via Windows Media Player. So, no problem per the Vendor of the format. Good to know I guess.

Thanks to all that replied.

Yea, never did spell well

Glad to help out with my own question. Suppose I should have check with them before I posted it but then agian as you mentioned maybe this will help others who have the same question.

Anyway, love the product. I am about to load the stuff on a second laptop as a backup system to the main laptop and I understood this is acceptable as long as they both are not used at the same time? Just got to scared to run a single laptop anymore as I also run the DJ work off the thing as well with all the MP3's loaded on the system. When I get a request to do DJ work with Karaoke I can do it all from the same system. Sweet it is but it is now a single point of failure that I feel I must be able to recovery from when at a show.

Yes, you can have a backup. We at MTU realize how important this is, which is why Hoster can install on 2 systems. Thanks for being honest with us also and not running two shows at the same time.

BTW: Have you tried playing your MP3 songs in Hoster? You can add them into the Playlist interspersed with Karaoke files.

If you have any requests for DJ'ing from Hoster, please post them in the Hoster New Features Forum. We are adding features all the time.
