BMP image colors - Change if more than 10 colors

Should be able to open it in Paint,click on the color you want, then click on that little paint can (looks like it's spilling)at the top left, then move the pointer to the area you want to color and click the mouse. That should color that area the new color. Then save it. You might want to use a different name, unless you want to replace it entirely. That should work.
