Again, don't you have the original discs? If you do, I believe you can import them into cakewalk straight from the disc. Not real sure of that but anyway there are lots of wav editors available. I use Sound Forge for most of my wav editing.

If you can record to a tape you should be able to record straight from Hoster to Cakewalk, that is if both software programs are on the same computer. Or even if they aren't, you could go from sound card out to sound card in and accomplish the same thing. Going to Tape is where you are losing most of the quality. You may need some extensive knowledge of sound card settings to do this depending on the sound card itself.
