Unhappy Import Tracks feature not working in 2.613

I have a strange problem in that when I try to use the Import Track feature, select BIN as the file type, click on select folder, and go to the folder where I have these files stored-- I cannot see any of them, and in fact the "choose folder" window that is open has a strange looking drop-down in the bottom of the window that has no functionality. I CAN achieve results under the Play tab by using select folder, Add Track, and selecting BIN file type. Of course this only allows me to play the selection to confirm it is a good file. I can't burn them. Any ideas? I tried re-loading Microstudio thinking maybe a file was corrupted, but the same condition exists.

The Import as Bin Is for importing from a disc not your files.
you can import as CDG or Bin or Wav
go to custom assem tab, hard drive, to open and burn your bin files.Bob

Smile Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I guess I wasn't thinking since the change in this release-- away from using the custom assy tab designation. Now if I could figure out why my sound card drops audio playback when I stop one song and select another to play. I have to close down MicroStudio and re-launch it to get my coundcard back. Tried changing acceleration with dxdiag, to no effect. I run W2000. Any thoughts?

Mike

It would have to be another program, such as a program dealing with your Sound Card. I would check to make sure none of their software is running, that might be taking control of the card.
