I just want to be clear that everyone knows exactly what I am doing before I do it, that's all.
I stand corrected... must have been asleep when I answered above. You can edit the Brand name. There is no checking to verify the Brand you select is correct for the DiscID. Thus, you can enter something custom, choose any Brand from the standard list, and even choose a WRONG Brand for the DiscID... there is no checking.

When you try to import a disc that already has some tracks imported and others you changed the Brand name on, the Import CD Tracks screen may not identify those tracks that are already imported. Thus, you could end up with duplicate songs under different Brand names. Without a programmer studying the code, I can't tell you for sure, which is why I said "MAY NOT" above.

I'd recommend you make very sure you enter the Root BookID in the Search For: field and then set the Brand the same on ALL tracks from that DiscID/Root BookID. Otherwise, I don't know what will happen.
