editing "brand " names

I see. All my book Id's are already in and they are matched with the disc id's. Example: book Id# 812-8 is in disc ID # 812 and bookroot Id #812 as well, and were all imported on one brand name. All my discs were previously set up that way.

Now I need to know about editing just the brand names at this point here and there throughout the complete list of disc Id's.

After I do that, the disc ID's and rootbook Id's will still match; but will have different brand names within the same ID. And....similar brand names will be scattered among different "root and disc" ID's as well.

Will this be okay.
I just want to be clear that everyone knows exactly what I am doing before I do it, that's all.
