Exclamation Multi Session

Rick,

In using Microstudio, select all songs except #16. You will notice that when writing #15 it seems to stop. I allow a couple of minutes to go by when trying to write #15. I then push the eject button on the cdrom writer. It will eject. It will say Error or something to that nature. Pay no attention to that. I beleieve the terminate button also comes up. Click it. Once you exit from that screen check your files where you songs go to and you will see #15 there. Don't ask me why it works. It just does. Not saying it will work on your equipment; but that how I record my multi session discs.

Multisession Easy Solution

I have a Plextor 708uf and a plextor 20/10/40 (I think the number is 320) anyway the program came with Oak Software. The oak software allows me to record a Multisession disk with no problem in about half the time as the Microstudio software. This only works on Multisession disks only. All other disks you need the Microstudio software. The Oak software reconizes the disk as a Data Disk.

Re: Multisession security - Microstudio can back these discs up

This works for me on all but the last track. Any ideas on how to get the last track?

IE: If my CD has 11 tracks, it actually hangs on 10, but I can eject and the file is there. However, it won't even start the import on 11, leaving a 0 kb file in my directory.

Thanks!

Multisession security - Microstudio can back these discs up

For those who own a Plextor DVD RW drive

Before you start making copy of a Multisession disc using Disc Duplicate or Import Track.

First go to plextool menu. Select DRIVE SETTING. From that menu select (Enable Single Session). Then you should have no problem copy the whole disc or the last track of a multi-session disc.

Be sure you de-select that enable single session selection after you are finished, otherwise you made have trouble with other copy programs when you try to make a multisession disc. Have fun you all!! !!

P.S. I also had a older sony external cd/rw and internal cd/rw drive. I had no problem import the last two tracks of the muti-session disc.

What is up with that? This is also happening to me, and started when I upgrade to version 2.610. I have not been able to backup the last tracks.
