Can I re-import only one song of a disk and somehow slip it back in the #6 slot? How do I do that? Or do I have to reimport the whole disk again, which would mean to make another whole custom CD with the corrected song and all the others again? hmmm? Can anyone help me here, Beavis??
Just reimport it as a HD file. If you do burn to a cd you'll have to make sure it is the sixth song (the other five won't matter if your not importing them as well).

reimport as HD file and into song #6?

Mind: Good advice, thanx. How is it best to get that HD file at the #6 slot on that same disk ID # where it originally was. And To make it appear still as song #6 on that Disk. Do I name that HD folder as that of same original disk ID, then have that corrected song as song #6 in that folder?
Am I making any sense here?

That's, exactly, what you do.

If your ORIGINAL Imported Custom Disc had a BookID of 600, then, you would PREFACE the HD File as 600-06 and have your file named with the SAME Artist and Title info. Example: 600-06 - Diamond, Neil - Song Sung Blue

Upon HD import, Hoster will see the file as DiscID 600 and reimport it at the Track 06 location on the SAME BookID.

Unless you've given the DiscID a BRAND. Then, you'll need to Preface 600 with whatever Brand you ORIGINALLY Imported the Disc on. You can look in your KMA Folder to determine this.

excellent advice nReel

But I do have to make sure that the original is in fact erased, right? What does happen when a song is imported over another song that has the same bookID? Will the two songs then contain the same book ID?

My only problem here is that when I enter the original root Book ID say 600 (bookID = Root ID) it says "book ID already in use, meaning that that one song will have a totally different Book ID (not 600, like the others on that disc). How do I get around this w/o having to reimport the whole disc. Please help nReel?

Go in and delete that one song (699-05) or what ever it is. Then Hoster will let you reimport the song to the same id number.

Nowhere do you mention a TRACK NUMBER.

Did you assign a TRACK NUMBER?

You said to rename it 600 - 15 -title - artist

First, in my example, there are no spaces between the BookID and the DASH.

Second, there is NO SPACE between the DASH and the Track Number

Further, "Diamond, Neil" is an ARTIST.

So, it follows that my example has the ARTIST before the TITLE and not as per your example where you have the TITLE before the ARTIST.

This is the way a Trk should read...from left to right.

You can call, but I don't know how you will get my number or email since Private Messaging has been suspended.

I will not Post my email or Phone in the Open Forum.

However, if you want to, you can Post your email. Once I send an email to you, you will be able to see my email. Then you can send me your Phone number.

You will need to give me some time to establish a working and disposable web based email account, in which, you could do, as well.

For instance, and this goes to anyone on these forums who need to communicate without having to place your CURRENT email in the Open Forums, you could establish any WEB Based Email via Hotmail.com, Mail.com, Yahoo.com, or Netscape.com. Or, if you have AOL, you could establish a different Screen name, and use it in these Forums. Any of the above methods could work and if SPAM is a problem, discontinue the Account, by NOT using it anymore, and establish a new one.

There are always alternatives to Forum PMs and Forum Emailing being suspended.

Would this affect incoming spam to the forums? ADMIN is very adverse to any emails being posted on the forums, and removes them when he has time.
