Firstly, thank you for recognizing the work we have done.
You are very perceptive.
Yes... the playlist Preview window does not show a video when playing. One of our beta testers found a very neat video card that he set up and show the video!

The preview window requires a tremdous amount of compute power, and... it currently is only able to render RW code files, such as KMA, MP3G and ZIP files. The Video files are playing through Direct X and were taking too long to try to modify the screen to play them. Since it is not an essential operation, we shipped with it not playing.

We will try next year to see what we can do for this.
Yes... the Video window cannot be moved. Actually, we did our best to make the videos play through the existing Singer's Display, but after several weeks of engineering time, we abandoned it. Please read in the manual about the Singer's Display and the Video Display. Especially read how the Video Display assumes the persistence setting of the Singer's Display WINDOW... not FULL SCREEN (which happens by double clicking the Singer's Display). The video window had a problem when full screen that would make it disappear when you clicked into the playlist, such as to add a new singer's request. We felt that having the video window not disappear was far, far more importang. We again made tradeoffs to get a working product out this year.
Video was a bear, but our beta testers finally said we had made it useable!
