Tony,
There are TWO Boxes in the BUILD SONGS DATABASE Window. The Top Box is SELECTABLE and is where all your KMAs reside. If you have moved all your KMAs to an External HD, then your SONGS SOURCE FOLDER should look like this: D:\Songs where <D> is the DRIVE LETTER that designates your External Drive and, where <Songs> designates the FOLDER on the External Drive where you KMAs are stored. The Bottom Box is DEFAULTED to where you installed Hoster. If you installed Hoster in its DEFAULT location, then, the SONGS DATABASE DESTINATION FOLDER should look like this: C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Databases\ The HOSTER's Database is NOT the same as your KMA Storage Drive/Folder. And, HOSTER's Database CANNOT be located on an External Drive. Select the Drive/Folder where your KMAs are located and RE-BUILD the DB. Otherwise, re-run the Hoster Install.exe, select REMOVE, re-run the Hoster Install.exe, again, and re-Boot the Computer when Hoster has finished Installing. Open Hoster, Open the BUILD SONGS DATABASE, SET/SELECT the correct DRIVE/FOLDER where your KMAs are located, and Click the BUILD SONGS DATABASE Button. |

Database
Hi Nreel:
I've tried all the things you suggested. Except reinstall which I've been hesitating to do because I don't know if I have to go on line to register again. I'll give it a try and see if I have to re register. Thaks a bunch. You obviously know your stuff. Tony G |

DAtabase
I uninstalled and reinstalled hoster several tilmes. I changed the folder it was in - no good. I re installed and went for the default folders no good. Before doing that I deleted all the kma files from my "Songs" folder because some of them were compressed. Then I copied some kma files from my external hard drive into the "Songs" folder - none were compressed and it still gives me the same error message when I try to build a database. What do I do?
