Burning Problems

I've been using the MicroStudio problem for a about 3 months on a Plextor PX-716UF Exterior CD/DVD burner. All has been perfect until this weekend when the burner would stop burning during the burning process and eject the CD-R. The error message generated is:

Error: Unexpected failure reading file cache
Request timeout encountered (cache is empty)

The above error message was not addressed on the Support page and I wondered if anyone could help me with this problem.

Thanks,
Steve

I have never heard of this problem. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe the cache on the Plextor drive is going bad. You might want to give Plextor a call at 800-204-0332.

What Happened

Just wanted to post the final outcome of my problem, so you can help others with the same problem since it was an unfamiliar problem. It was not your software nor the burner, but rather the hard drive that was going bad. Once I replaced the hard drive yesterday, the burner works like a charm.
